Found out today that they boared out the block but won't start to build for another 2 weeks.... I'm sick of waiting. I'm pulling it and taking it to my friends at Haas Racing.

A long rod motor is one that has longer rods than stock, with matching shorter pistons. Keeps the same displacement, but has a better angle to drive the crank.

Alright everybody, serious ground is being made. Today I got the rear end and Tuesday I have a meeting with the builders. Starting sometime next week or the following my car is going to be down, rear end, tranny, and engine are all coming out. Shift kit will be installed as well as the rear end. We're hoping within the time it takes us to do the transmission and rear end the engine will be done and then we can just drop it in! Ill keep you all updated!

So yesterday we drove out to the guys shop for our appointment and he wasn't even there... We called him today and no answer... I'm thinking its time to pull it from this place and take it to someone who is actually going to finish up this project
