Makes Me Ashamed to Own a Blue Convertible
V6s look plain to me (I own one) so I'm all in favor of doing little things to spruce it up but to me changing badging is worse than all the stickers, scoops, and wings in the world.
Wanna rice it out? Go ahead. Mustangs are rather inexpensive, easy to work on, and have one of the largest markets for after-market mods. That makes them ideal for fixing up. If the import crowd is what your in then fine. But don't change the -------- badges!

As for my Galaxie,
I hear the same thing from all my friends, well, I couldn't work on the car for a while for various reasons (money, work, other projects). But I have cleared up my schedule and have started up again. It will be in a bodyshop very soon for final bodywork and paint. I guess I should have changed my sig to (on hold) or something like that.
the one thing that irks me is some people think it is easy, like something on Horsepower TV or rides or funkmaster flex where every bolt practically comes off by hand, etc. Not real life. There have been times when I have spent tons of time trying to get one rusted bolt loose.

Leave the outside completely stock, supercharge the V6, add a bit of nitrous. (but make sure that you do not go over the price of a GT....). Completely stock looking V6, what a sleeper!!!

I don't know what's worse. Dress up a V6 and claim it's a Cobra, or tell everyone it's a V6 and replace all the emblems and try a convince yourself that you have a Cobra. Either way, it's very confusing. However, any confusion is cleared up when you start the engine.
