Yeah Steve, I have question for you. Other than few things (stripes, wing) that Mustang looks similar to Roush Mustangs, but I never saw anyone complain to Roush Mustangs.

By the way, when are you going to fix up you Galaxie? I've been coming to this forum for a while now, and it always says "Galaxie in progress"

That car looks nothing like a Roush. It's a V-6 with Cobra badges and a huge rear wing without the power to back it up. Those three Roushes push 400 horsepower.

I was talking about design, not engine.

Isn't that GT hood?

It is a GT hood scoop, but to compare the design of this V6 to a Roush is blasphemy. Roush wouldn't put that rediculous wing or those horrible graphics on a car.

I did say other than graphics and wing, didn't I?

My point is, Roush have body kit, stripe, and so on, but still no one have anything against that. But if you see the same thing on Mustang V6 you would say its rice. Right?

Zoran,

That V6 obviously has a body kit from somewhere like wings west or cervini's. While not as bad as some of the stuff I have seen, the wing and graphics make the car look terrible. The dark color hides a lot of the "detail " of the kit.

As for my Galaxie,
I hear the same thing from all my friends, well, I couldn't work on the car for a while for various reasons (money, work, other projects). But I have cleared up my schedule and have started up again. It will be in a bodyshop very soon for final bodywork and paint. I guess I should have changed my sig to (on hold) or something like that.

the one thing that irks me is some people think it is easy, like something on Horsepower TV or rides or funkmaster flex where every bolt practically comes off by hand, etc. Not real life. There have been times when I have spent tons of time trying to get one rusted bolt loose.

yeah you tell him steve! and what dictates rice???? stupid wings, ugly body kits, and pointless graphics. the roush kit follows the body lines of the mustang that kit doesnt. the roush kit has nice clean lines and no stupid lets add an ugly vent here there an ugly vent. and nowhere does the roush say it is a cobra unlike the vert.

I do believe that the few things (stripes, wing) are what make us poke fun at this car. So, other than that, you're right... it looks almost like a normal mustang. But, the point is that IT DOES HAVE STRIPES AND A PEP BOYS WING!!!

These are the cars that get all the tickets.

I was wondering why I have three warnings and no tickets since I bought my current Stang. I am sure if my car looked like that, I would have no self esteem and three tickets.

okay, Question...I've been trying to figure this out...Brad, I've looked over this car for some clue, and I'm missing it, unless it was in an add...How are you able to tell it was a v6. It's got a GT scoop...which means nothing. He pulled off the badging to put the cobra badges on...so..how can you tell it's a 6

I'll take this one...

GT's cost more money, and this guy doesn't make enough money at Mickey D's to afford one.

It was posted on MustangWorld.com today. The owner said it was a V6.
