I got him down to $260 complete ready to install he's going with a turbo set up, the guy I'm getting them from doesn't know the specs on the heads they were on the car when he got it but he pretty much has the same set up as I do, I'm going to install a upper and lower intake that came off a saleen explorer and I'm assuming it should all work good. As far as installing them my self I never done anything like that but I'm pretty good with directions and figuring out **** LOL. What kind of gains should I expect? and where can I get info if I happen to get stuck along the way?

*Just take your time.
*Follow the book.
*Torque all bolts to spec
*make sure all mating surfaces are properly clean.
*most importantly, stay organized! Mark all harnesses your not sure of. Bag all the bolts in seperate labeled baggies and so on.
Then save your 850 and buy more mods!

If you're going to swap to gt40 heads see if there is a pull-a-part close to you. Its going to be your cheapest route and i believe all heads cost the same price. Whether they're 4, 5, 6 or 8 etc. one set price for any and it's cheap. Im pretty sure for a set of heads its only right around 40-75 dollars. If there isn't one close to you let me know and ill go check out the one by me and get you a set for a small fee. Not trying to get rich, just fuel and a little bit of labor. Still won't cost more than $150 as long as im right about the price at pull-a-part

Thanks batmobilebrock57, all I need is a 65mm t.b and the spacer, I'm still debating if I should do the heads the upper and lower intake myself I've never done this I'm trying to save some money but I don't know if it's going to cost me more at the end the only thing that's really keeping me from doing this myself is setting up the heads meaning the rockers studs the pushrods with the cam and putting the distributor back to the correct position this guy's charging me 500 bucks to do the whole job I just don't want to end up paying double if I mess something up but at the same time I want to save myself 500 bucks so what do you guys think. thanks
