Ugh I hate antifreeze I just fixed 2 leaks 1 from my thermostat housing (chrome Taiwan peice with an o-ring I disposed of for a cast ford unit, and I originaly installed my catch can to low and the hose kinked causing it to leak) i think I'd rather bathe in motor oil and grease than get a quart of antifreeze on me I really and truly hate antifreeze!

Yes, these cars are just lots of fun aren't they?
I had a broken rocker arm a couple of months ago. Sent the car back to where I had the engine overhauled on the back of a tow truck. lol
I didn't know there a Mustang would run on 7 cylinders, sure sounded bad!

The motor that is mine right now was originally from a Torino and was in my truck previous to my mustang when I had awakened it from a slumber of sitting for around 6 years it was running on 5 cylinders tops but it sounded good like it had a way big cam

5 cylinders? That's worse then mine.
What engine do you have in it? A 302, or a 351?

So I just sold my 68 deluxe hood with turn signals on craigslist for $100 it had peeling paint scratched and I backed my trailor into it accidently and put a small dent into it so it was a good deal, it was only online for 3 hours and it sold! Crazy thing is the guy who bought it lives less than a block away after he picked up the hood I walked over to check out his '67 and it's pretty nice he put an '85 5.0 and t-5 tranny in it. He has a manual rack and I have a power one and I want his and he wants mine so I'm heading over again to check his out to see if I want to trade. He allready told me he wants to trade straight up. Maybe my manual steering problem solved itself.

Well that's good!
I'm planning on going to a big local swap meet and clearing out all my old Mustang parts in the same way. I could use the cash and the space in the garage.
I'm going to go to my local Mustang shop tomorrow to get a couple of things adjusted on my 65.

Thankyou much! I also heard the ratio of gear boxes is different but seeing how I would have the hardest un-assisted box and it's not to bad all should be good if I just change the pitman arm and the rack and if it's still got to much play i'll get a m
new box. Also an update on the hood sale, the guy owns an upholstery shop and said for my $100 back I'll install your headliner and I said you've got yourself a deal!

HEATER CORE PROBLEMS!!! so I completely rebuilt the whole heater box and replaced the heater core when I went through it. Recently upon acceleration I would smell satans green sticky nectar, (which before I thought was coming from that previous a-freeze leak. So when I get home I check the engine bay and you can eat food off of it no leak in sight. So reluctantly I check my heater box and there was some stoppage on my new carpet not much though.
I checked the hose clamps and no leaks there, question is what makes a heatercore go bad after only 10,000 miles? I'm taking it out tomorrow.

Yeah, mine was starting to leak too. Had the whole heater box overhauled, and the cardboard diffuser replaced. At least the heater works now! lol

Well it was like Christmas morning when I put my heatercore in. I found a new set of heater controll cables that I forgot I had bought under the dash so now Ive got a heater and controlls! Now I've just got to feel back in there and see if there are any aluminum heads that have slipped my mind!
