Ditto.

I'd forgotten how much room that engine compartment had.

Would the missing skin be on the exhaust manifold near the driver's side rear plug?

Been there, done that.

Yup....Actually, both sides near the shock towers, but the drivers side is by far the worse ...Its enough to drive me to....

I'm told it's not too bad if you have an arm that has a joint between the wrist and elbow.

At any rate, nice car.

Well I haven't updated in a while. I finally got the 351 emblems and got them on. I also found a passenger side dash panel with the rectangle clock insert...Hopefully it will be here soon. I haven't decided yet if Im gonna put a digital clock in or redo the original only with quartz inards...
I also have all the glass in but holly I just can not get them lined up very well....patients is a virtue I know but yikes...what a pain in the ***....
Now for the bad...I came home the other day after putting on about 50 miles, parked the car in the garage and went in the house..came out a few hours later and there was a puddle of oil under the front of the car. I opened the hood and there was oil splattered on the passenger side inner front fender and a bit on the hood. It was coming out from under the balancer in the front. I was thinking it may be from where the key is on the balancer. But Im not that lucky. Seems the front seal had a crack in it. So as I type this its in the shop getting a new seal. The **** thing has only 500 miles on it and its already in the shop . I will be going after the engine builder for the cost of the repair, but I don't like my chances....I'll update with the results....

Sorry to hear about your issues. They aren't that unusual in an old Mustang. I had a cracked rocker arm a few weeks after I got my engine overhauled and barely made it back to the garage on 7 cylinders! lol

The next day I sent it back to the place that did my engine on the back of a tow truck and had them fix it. They did, no cost to me!
