Well i REALLY wanted the Torq Thrust II's or the American Racing Hot Rod T70r but those are $$$. so if i cant get those then ill have to look for different ones. I looked up tires on tirerack.com and there are some pretty good cheap ones for under 400$

Yeah, that would be cool! I've always thought that silver would be a good Mustang color.

American Racing is a good brand of wheel. I have the Torque Thrust D's in chrome. Easier to take care of then polished. Second and third pics.

I had some Crager SS on the car when I first got it a year ago, but they were pitted and I sold them to a coworker for $200. First pic.

I got a catalog from Jeggs today and they had some wheels in it from Rocket wheels. They looked pretty good too, I'm not sure if they are expensive or not.

Yeah, that's not unusual for a good Mustang paint job. I wanted them to blast off all the old layers of paint and repaint mine in the orginal "Rangoon Red" it came in. But in order to do that they have to take a lot of the car apart. That costs large $$$.

Some guys save some money by doing a lot of the prep, body work themselves. That's what BA did on his and it came out looking nice! Maybe you can do something like that?

I read the whole thread, and you've done a lot of stuff to that pony.
And the rest of you guys have good looking cars too. Subscribed to see how it all keeps going.

i wouldnt trust myself with body work, lol, I was also thinking of having someone else do body work and I paint it and have my brother help since he has painted a car before. I emailed lanzini (The guy who did some paint jobs for overhaulin) for fun, they said it would cost anywhere from 15-30k for them to do that. depending on if it needs to be sand blasted or anything. so there went my dream of having them paint it, lol
