1966 Ford Mustang Coupe Build Chronicle w Engine Upgrade!
Well i REALLY wanted the Torq Thrust II's or the American Racing Hot Rod T70r but those are $$$. so if i cant get those then ill have to look for different ones. I looked up tires on tirerack.com and there are some pretty good cheap ones for under 400$
Yeah, that would be cool! I've always thought that silver would be a good Mustang color.
American Racing is a good brand of wheel. I have the Torque Thrust D's in chrome. Easier to take care of then polished. Second and third pics.
I had some Crager SS on the car when I first got it a year ago, but they were pitted and I sold them to a coworker for $200. First pic.
I got a catalog from Jeggs today and they had some wheels in it from Rocket wheels. They looked pretty good too, I'm not sure if they are expensive or not.

the rim rockets are the same as torq thrust, 180$ and up. look nice though! Also got a paint and body quote just for fun today, someone wanted 10K! ridiculous
Yeah, that's not unusual for a good Mustang paint job. I wanted them to blast off all the old layers of paint and repaint mine in the orginal "Rangoon Red" it came in. But in order to do that they have to take a lot of the car apart. That costs large $$$.
Some guys save some money by doing a lot of the prep, body work themselves. That's what BA did on his and it came out looking nice! Maybe you can do something like that?
