I'm all about this one, MAN is that sweet! This car with the new 5.0 poppin 450 to the wheels and I'm in LOVE!

Anyone care to add a '69/'70 side window treatment to this? I reckon we'll see a return to this window treatment for the next car

At the risk of being "that guy," we have a separate P-shop forum for people to have fun with current/past 'Stangs. Can we keep this thread to 50th Anniversary ideas?

I attempted that in paint but it didn't work out so well, LOL.

Second that, lets hope if Ford drops the retro look, they come up with something better than a Camaro on a Crack Binge.

Just throwin' this one out there.......

I'd like to see some more angles, plus add the '69/'70 rear side window treatment. Love the hips though!

Better, but it does seem to say, "Kiss me. I'm easy." Also, change the bumper from a smile to a frown.

Actually, I like that design. But seriously, the car needs to be brought into the modern age. Something along the lines of Jaguar or Aston Martin. I love Mustangs and they are all I've ever owned, but don't you think it's about time these cars actually perform other than going in a straight line? Even with the performance parts, they still suck. Make them a two seater and a mid mount engine or something. Sure, it won't look like a Mustang, but it will handle a hell of a lot better. The current car, along with the Camero and the Challenger, is too heavy. Imports make a laughing stock of these cars in the handling department. Time to actually put a Mustang out there that actually has good engineering and a great modern design.

Actually, you could use both for v6/GT applications...

But a mid engined 2 seater wouldn't be Mustang (and yes, I do know about the original concept ) I love the fact it's a reasonably roomy 2+2 with a decent trunk, ideal for my young family.

Initial reviews have the 2011 down as a great handling and performing car......I think it was Autoblog that compared it to an M3 for $20k less, so the engineering is already heading in the right direction.

You know how many customers they would lose with a 2 seater. Most buy the Mustang because of what Turbo said. Its the perfect sports car for people with young kids.

you know what, they may actually already have the perfect design and not need to change.

You know full well, these muscle cars can't handle worth ****. They never have from inception. Too bulky, too heavy, etc. For the most part, these cars have seen little changes in their handling performance over......what......the numerous decades they've been around. And for people who say that if they make it a two seater, they'll lose customers. Well, the back seats for QUITE SOME TIME, have been a hilarious joke. Uncomfortable as hell, no leg or head room. A complete waste of time, energy and a flawed design. It's time to make the Mustang a real sports car. Something that not only can go fast in a straight line, but can take the corners just as well as any Japanese or European counterpart.
