Kevin was telling me about this when I was ordering some parts today. I hope the hood scoop actually has some kind of function.

One of the worse things Ford did in the 60s and 70s was to "invent" the OEM bolt-on fake hood scoop. It really cheapened the look of the car and just made cars look like wannabes. A hood scope on the Mustang would be great - but Ford needs to do it right and make two hoods - like the mid 80s Firdbird - one regular and one for the Formula/TransAm
(the Formula had a different hood - not so sure about the TransAm).
My 2 cents worth.

Now starts all the speculation. How much? Where will it be available? Cali, nationwide, etc? Differences between it and a GT? When will we see a prototype or show car?

I can't wait to get some answers to these questions. I'm pumped! I probably won't get one but I'm happy any time new Mustang news like this is released.

Why? This could be a sign of a N/A 5.4L in a new Mustang. Or it could be a "pony package" for the GT models. Either way Ford is trying to give people more options from the factory, which is a good thing.

I think a new SE is enough reason to get excited. I'd rather they try some thing different than Mach 1 or Bullitt.
