2011 MY order bank open date, Job #1 date & 2010 MY End Date!!!! IMPORTANT INFO!!!

Hey everyone, my fleet manager here at work came something that would be VERY IMPORTANT NEWS for many of you here. What I have are the dates for final orders for all 2010 Mustang, and more importantly, the Job #1 date for the 2011 MY Mustang with the new motors. I have attached a copy of the PDF file, that shows when the dates are. I also have them written below for reference.

2010 Model Year Mustangs

1/10/2010 - 2010 MY Last Day to Spec Change/Cancel
3/12/2010 - 2010 MY Job Last Date

2011 Model Year Mustangs

11/23/2009 - 2011 MY Order Bank Open Date
2/12/2010 - 2011 MY Scheduling Begins
3/15/2010 - 2011 MY Job #1 Date for 2011 Mustangs

So there you have it!!!! As you call can see, the dates for both 2010 and 2011 Mustangs are coming up quick. I'm not sure it was posted earlier, but due to the hack, I wanted to put it back up and help get more info out for the 2010 Threads to get rebuilt. For anyone who wants the Coyote or 3.7 V6, you only have to wait about 2 months to place your order!!! I Hope this info helps out some of you. Glad to help out the site.

Can any of the Mods, PLEASE sticky this for a while, until the build starts up next year. Its good info that will be used by many. Thank you!!!

I have a VERY GOOD feeling, that we will see the info at the LA Auto Show. Its where they revealed the 2010's last year and I'm thinking we will see the new motors there. That show is before the order bank opens, if I do recall correctly.

Thank you all for the kind words!!!

I love helping out everyone on here and showing that there are a few salespeople out there (and on this site specifically) that are good decent "car guys".

Dec 4-13.

When did the order guide come out for the 2010? That might give us a ballpark idea for this year.

This is GREAT NEWS!!! I wonder if it would be faster to order one (2011) from the factory or wait until they arrive to the dealers and hope they get one like i want.

Anyone know when there will be info on Pricing for 2011 GT (Coyote)? I am considering a 2010 with Track Pack but would rather wait if they are similar in price.

I am also curious about resale values of the 2010's if the 2011's have such drastic powertrain improvements (direct inj. 32v engine, 6 speed etc)? Seems obvious that most would rather skip the 2010 in favor of the 2011 if closely priced.

Hey guys,

long-term lurker (since the 10' was revealed and made availible) I almost bought a 10', but because of this site I decided to wait for the 11' with the new 5.0 and 6-speed! thanks so much for all the great info guys! I can't wait to place my order, coming from a Nissan Maxima, this car is going to be a lot of fun for me!
