It has been a few years since we have had a dog, and yesterday we picked up a new pup for my daughters birthday. She's a mini golden doodle.
I forgot what having puppy is like. She cried and whimpered the entire night Trying to wear her out today so she'll sleep a little longer between crying spells. I think it was her first night away from her litter. Needless to say, we are all really tired today.
She's a sweet little girl. She's couple days shy of 8 weeks, so still really young, and she loves to crawl in our laps and be held. While that's cute now, not sure I want to make that a habit. But how can you resist a face like that?

Yeah,...they cry and whimper the first couple of nights, but they get used to it after a while. She's really young too, so she misses her puppies siblings and mom so she wants to be held all the time. I brought my dog home when she was 8 weeks old and she was the same exact way.
Enjoy your new pup!

We think she's German Shepherd or Belgian Malinois (?) mixed with pit. She's a sweet thing.
My little fluff nugget! Haha! And she is a super happy dog! I just saw her again tonight

And her coat is shorter than a shepherd so that's why we were thinking Belgian Malinois
