Smiling doggies are great! I had a Dalmatian/Dane mix who would do the Dalmatian "smarl" when you talk to her and he butt and tail would wiggle so much it's a wonder she didn't fall over!
Here's a pic of the gal I got a couple weeks ago. She was a rescue a friend was fostering. Found downtown as a stray. Boston Terrier mix (prolly some pit and beagle, with the nose she has). She'll sniff and wander around following a scent. So much sometimes she'll sneeze so hard she smacks her nose in the ground. Older gal 7-10 years old, real sweetie. She was loved by someone at one time... Spayed, walk great in a leash and follows commands. Has a bit of arthritis in her back and hips.

That's great you rescued her. Older dogs can be really hard to place.

Went to the shelter again. This boy was still there. They named him Ziggy, but to me his name is still Babe. I want to bring him home so bad. Hoping I can move in with my uncle ASAP and take him home. He's so lovable and goofy!

the face you are making is priceless. Looks like the GF has some training to do with him

No wonder I like him so much, we've got something in common.
My aunt had a dog that was terrified of thunderstorms and she would hide in the bathroom closet when one started.
