Mine loves stuffed animals too, except she ends up ripping them up. And then I'm a sucker for her and always buy her a new one, lol.

I made the mistake of taking Smokie fishing in my little boat. When we pulled anchor to move to another spot, I noticed my fishing pole dangling. I knew it couldn't be a fish because I reeled it in and left the... um... velveeta on the hook... well, dangling...
Yep. Hooked a dawgfish.
And like I learned from watching Cheech & Chong Educational TV, I followed her around the back yard for several days with a baggie...

The lads on bear watch (tag has one in his mouth)
It is black bear season. I saw a mother bear and 2 cubs literally sitting, picnic style in my neighbors field lol. Totally watching me drive by, uncaring. They've been into my yard every night for a couple weeks. The cubs dangling from skinny trees on the perimeter, treed by my dogs or practicing climbing skills. It's funny as hel l.
It is black bear season. I saw a mother bear and 2 cubs literally sitting, picnic style in my neighbors field lol. Totally watching me drive by, uncaring. Give them the space....
I'd hate to see one of the dogs or you on one of your fancy dinner plate pics in a bear den.

we give them all the space they need. Never bother them unless they come into the yard. That's our territory. They have the entire forest undisturbed for themselves.

nope they don't but it's not a good idea to encourage or by omission let them think my yard/home is open house. The house and yard's almost 60 years old. Never been an incident. The dogs all throughout the neighborhood do their jobs just fine. My boys don't leave the compound or pursue them. We all coexist in good harmony, as plainly seen by how they hang out in the fields at a safe distance.
