FYI, behind him is a grape vine trellis. last night at midnight I opened the door to let Tag out for a wiz and there was a black bear mowing down on grapes lol. Just a year or 2 old. not full grown. He bolted but Tag decided he didn't need to wiz anymore lol. Grapes and leftover apples almost gone so we'll be sayin g'bye to the mom and 2 cubs pretty soon.

Sadly (with some tears), my boy Leto is knocking at heaven's door as I write this. Last night we played with Tag and had a good night. He may have used up the last of his heart beats though, and is looking at moving on. Relax and go when you want to Leto. I'll be right here with you. He's resting at his spot in the kitchen by the stove where all the action usually is. This is tough, no matter how much you think you are ready for it.

I am truly sorry, you know how much I love dogs. Some of the worst pain I've ever had was losing a dog, for a long time they were what connected me to an older life, the only memories I had of good times. Directly connected to a loved one I lost.
One of the hardest things I've ever had to do was put down one that I grew up with and then my boy grew up with, dog was about 22 years old.
