The TMS Dog Thread!
Funny part (well its funny now). Sonja (the big one) was getting quite fat. We just thought it was because we dont walk her enough and she loves to sleep. Well she started acting very lethargic and didnt even want to do general things she usually does. She also started getting very testy with our Pom. Upon taking her to the vet we found out she had pancreatitus from the high crude fat content in her food (Iams Weight Control). I assumed being Iams and being weight control that it would be quality stuff. Turns out the crude fat content was like 17%. After a couple of weeks on dieretic canned food from the vet ($$$$$) she dropped ALOT of weight (like 12 lbs) and gained a buttload of energy. We have her on Beneful weight control now (9%). Shes a much healthier and happier pup. Still hurts me that I almost killed my dog because I trusted the name and packaging instead of reading the health information.

I like the real explanation better now
I remember Huckleberry Hound. That was my generation of cartoons, I realized that was your reference. Their dog does resemble the cartoon character. Huckleberry's sidekick was Little Biddy Buddy.
