Flash the Bassett Hound turns nine this month. He's developed some minor hip pain but still runs like the wind--a 10mph wind--when he warms it up. Still hollers at everything in his yard, still jumps around when its supper time.

Yes it did, he's only got a little bit left on his back and sides, and not as dark.

 

I know! It looks like a completely different dog. Cute though!

Awesome dogs!!

My dog is a Mini Schnauzer and is salt and pepper coloring. As a pup, she must mostly black. As she aged, the colors changed a lot.

Freckles has been dealing with degenerative hip disease for a number of years. Sometimes her legs will just give out on her and next thing you know, she will be flat out on the floor. When she was sick around Xmas and had X-rays they noticed arthritis on her spine. A couple of weeks ago during her check up, they detected a slight heart murmur. My girl is getting old
