Show me your convertibles!
I love it so much! It is the one mod that gets me the most attention. Most people think it is a fake scoop but when I open the hood people are always shocked. Compliments are a plentiful since I got the shaker installed. It really does fit the retro styled ponies. However, my real favorite part is seeing it shake when I goose the throttle.
If i change my mind i'll look you up!
here's mine tonight after a day of polish, wax, sealant, glaze and back pain lol
Darren, your car looks fantastic. I'm still waiting for a better opportunity to show of my "new" finish minus the swirls, surface scratches, and holograms that I removed after a 2 day session using my new Porter Cable DA this week. I'm no longer a buffer virgin. This pic is from a few hours ago, although it really doesn't show just how deep and reflective of a finish I was able to achieve.

You should be....yours almost seems electric. It requires a lot of sweat and patience to keep 'em looking like we try to do.
I made my share of rookie mistakes with the buffer, plus I spent a lot of **** retentive effort in masking off the edges of the new stripes so I didn't do damage. A couple of times I had brain farts and lifted the buffer before I turned it off. Cleaning a million tiny white splatter dots on a black car was pure joy.
But I got about 90% of the surface defects under control. I exceeded my own expectations for once.
Now if only someone would invent a dust and pollen repellent, Mustang life would be perfect.

Thanks! and, surely
Also 100% necessary at any NHRA sanctioned 1/4 in open top cars going quicker than 13.5. I'm hoping I can keep it as clean adding door bars and the harness mount bar. IMHO, Ford should contract with MM and these should be included (the 4pt.) in every 'vert from the factory. Car is noticeably stiffer with it, doors even close more solidly. I enjoy this thread/love seeing everyone else's ride

It's sporting a Maximum Motorsports 4 point cage in it now. Going 6 point and SFI harnesses soon as it is getting quicker
