The motion ones were definitely rig shots. Looks like the rig was mounted at the chassis, because I don't see any touch-up work on the car.

The Nikon D5000 is a great little camera. A nice little DSLR that also shoots 720p HD video, though I have no first-hand experience so I can't comment on the video quality.

Humming birds were busy outside today... that is until I got the camera out. These are 2 cropped versions I just took. Trying to get them in flight, but it's dark and cloudy out so my shutter speed was too slow to catch them and have some depth of field. I also picked up a cheap wireless remote for the camera too so i'm able to set the camera up and just hit a button when they come to the feeder.
