You really need to get a place with a better view.

Just a quick shot I took today after having the car detailed.

Yeah I love these wheels. I was on the fence when I bought them, but the second I had them on, I knew they were perfect. I never was big on black wheels, but the polished lip really sets them off.

And yeah, if that picture doesn't convince you, I don't know what will LOL.

totally black wheels look horrible, IMO. you can never get the black of the tires to match the black of the wheels, so it doesnt look right. But if you have the polished lip in there to break it up, you dont see the color difference as much.

No, unfortunately they don't. I've come up with a couple ideas for center caps, but just haven't gotten around to it. It doesn't bother me that much though.

Question?? I'm sure has been addressed in this thread somewhere, What is the least expensive best bang for the buck dslr camera out there? I'm mostly point and shoot along with shooting a vid once in a while.
Thanks and keep posting your pictures!

It's gotta be the Canon T2i. $800 and it shoots HD video nearly identical to the Canon 5D MkII (a $2700 DSLR) and the picture quality is superb considering it's class. That's what I shot the picture of my car with at the top of the page. I have a 5D, but I find myself using my T2i a lot more.

One of the local studios is closing its doors so a group of us rented the place out. I called up some of my 501st friends and took these (http://www.flickr.com/photos/strickl...7623859378149/)

Glenn: I've heard good thing about the Canon 7D's video.

DarkFireGT: does the T2i use the same lenses as the 5Dm2?

The 5Dm2, the 7D, and the T2i all take quite similar video. The difference between the 5Dm2 and T2i is hardly noticeable except at high ISO ratings. The 7D video and T2i are identical. Even at high ISO ratings, I fail to see any difference. They all take great video.

The T2i uses EF & EF-S lenses, so it most definitely will take any lens the 5Dm2 does.

Here's a music video I shot with a T2i. It was one of the first things I shot with the T2i and my first music video, so I think it came out great.

800 bucks ouch lol! I was looking at something in the 500 to 600 dollar range.
the canon eos rebel http://cgi.ebay.com/USA-CANON-EOS-Re...item1e5bd5a596
But I don't think it shoots vid. I could almost live without the vid its just an added bonus.

The T1i also takes HD video, just not 24FPS movie mode. If you don't care about cinema framerate, the video quality itself is still quite decent.

Great shots Barricade!

Can you tell us who did the photos and how the motion ones were done?
