I never noticed that. Mine is blue too!

 

It's usually about the best color to use as a back ground because it's pretty neutral. Allows the camera to pick up the details of the face, regardless of skin tone. Ours have a white background.

I had to pull mine out and look because I couldn't remember.....you are right, blue.

Lucky, I always wished I got the blue eyes in my family but my brother got them instead At least both of my sons have blue eyes.
