Obama "fixed" healthcare alright, with his bill passing with no republican support. Something most people forget is that once enough democrats stepped up and voted yes for Obamacare, Pelosi told the rest that they could vote the way their constituents wanted them to vote. So even then, the democrats knew that in some districts, the people didn't want it. But until they had the votes, they had to go against the will of the people. We're still f'd from that one.
I don't like most of the republicans, but the democratic party these days is just a new name for the socialist party, and socialism has FAILED every time it has been attempted. It sounds nice, but it fails every single time. You can't get past human nature.
