There were rumors that there was two camps on the C7. One wanted a mid engine and one wanted regular front. In the end they compromised and said they'd do it next time because they weren't quite ready for it and neither was the public.
I think they didn't want to spend the money on the new platform yet having just come out of bankruptcy.

The bathroom thing is the latest distraction to keep us from focusing on real issues. This will die down. Then some other seemingly idiotic thing will captivate the US and you can bet your *** it's cover for a more important issue.
