should of came with front plate mounting bracket from dealer. Found mine in trunk with the spare. IF it didnt stop by your dealer. they should supply one. We supposed to have 1 here to. But so far havnt had any issues. Dont run 1 on the front.

I think that, for some of us, mounting the factory bracket detracts from the front of the car and, further, is irreversible in that holes are required.

I received my replacement STO N SHO yesterday. It was very easy to install. I didn't drill the third hole and only used the two existing holes and it seems secure enough. I have yet to drive the car with it on so only time will tell. In the looks category, it is nice. As stated in the install instructions, front end clearance is reduced by about 1/2".

It may not technically be what MN statue intended but it's how it reads and is defensable.

I got pulled over in St Peter, MN last summer by a city cop. Had the plate on the dash, he turned around and followed me all the way through town before stopping me on the outskirts. Thankfully just got a warning, stopped in Jordan and had the dealer install the front plate before headin to the cities.

PS Minnesota's plates are steel, mine slid off the dash and put a big scratch in my A pillar.

Zip ties my friend... Zip ties. And use painters tape to protect surfaces that touch.

There are a lot of great suggestions in this thread. Here's another option to keep from drilling the front bumper.

I went with Big Mike's from here. They have several versions to fit most flavors of Mustang.

Here is some shots of mine after the install with it on, and with it off.

That's neat! I never heard of this particular brand before.
