Herbert... you know I love you, man. But to be honest, the plastidipping is a bit excessive. It's starting to cross over into the "Gawdy" territory. The quarter window doesn't match, the hood stripes ruin the lines and look of the car. Sorry, just some honest feedback. But again, it's your car. So if you're happy, by all means.

Just a warning, plastidip is only good to about 300*F, and probably won't last long at lower sustained temps.

Yep, that's why I was asking. I've seen some people do calipers and they seem to hold up okay under daily driving, but idk if I'd risk it. I'd rather not have my Plastidipped calipers ignite while I'm on the road

Haha, I think that was actually a speck of something on my camera, 'cause there's nothing on my bumper.

The outer hood stripes are still there!

Kidding man, in the end it's your car and if you love it, all that matters. Your white pony is still hot.

I was wondering about the same. I want to dip my coil covers, but the plastidip website says " It has been tested and proven in temperatures from -30°F to 200°F." I'm afraid it just won't be able to hold up against the engine temp.

Has anyone tried to dip their coil covers? How is it holding up?

Per my information center in my instrument cluster, my cylinder head temps hover around 206*F during normal driving, so it's hard to say...
