Putting all the comments about 'ricers' and all that bs aside I've always liked Honda, and I think that for the most part they build a solid product. I hope they can turn things around before it's too late.

Interesting article but a huge part of the fall of GM was the razor thin profit margins. This is an important part of GM 's decline. I do agree with the recent Honda products though the new accord looks way to similar to the 2008-12 models.

 

I can see the "Stage 3" symptoms clearly in the new Insight and Civic. Only the Fit is the most interesting car Honda currently has IMO probably because it is the most fun to drive yet practical. Acura is like their version of Lincoln struggling for a clear identity - they should fire the "stylists/designers". The only bright spot is at least Acura will get a halo car though filling the shoes of the NSX is a pretty tall order.

 

The real issue with Honda is when a Honda owner touch's them self at night a Kia is built in mexico
