Hey Arin, when will you put back together the II's engine? Still have to find some parts?

He's here right now. He needs to figure out the return fuel system, but he has all of the other parts necessary to put it back together. He wants to have it all done before he goes back to school next month.

The return line? Cooper tubing, hose clamps & fuel hose. Easy fab.

Yep. You need to route it back into the gas tank. Also, what fuel pump are you going to use? Universal high pressure?

I have a universal electronic one that the shop installed during the engine swap, I've been thinking it'd be ok for the EFI system

If it was used w the carb, I think it won't work. Carburetor systems run from 5 to 10 psi, no more, throtle body injection from 12- 28 and efi uses a minimum of 35psi. There are systems that run upo 85!
You should check the pressure rating of that pump, or the motor will run lean, or not at all, been there, done that.

Hmm, I'll look into it. Its not too big of a deal to change the pump anyway, its right there in the enginebay

In the engine bay? On the efi swap you should relocate it nearest the fuel tank, since that up front the pump will work harder to pull in gas, unless you use a pre-pump or primer pump. I don't say it won't work there, but on the long run it will fail faster.

unless you use a in-line pump in addition to the stock one...

and just like that everyone ive converted to 5 lug, rebuilt my front suspension with much stiffer parts, got new wheels, installed a fuel accumulator, a high pressure pump and ran short fuel lines around the engine bay
