I took some templates of the bending dies and shoes to Ring Brothers today. I think this will be a couple months before we start as they finish the rides they are working on right now.

People don't seem to want to pay alot of money for IIs It's really quite sad.
but then again, its great for people that want to get into IIs.
I think the most I've ever seen spent on a II was around 14K, and that was for a near mint tangerine coupe. The owner is on this board, hiznherponies

The important part is you remembered the car, lol I hope people remember my car because that is what we are looking at here, not me lol. I been feeling a little better so I did get back to work on the zephyr tying up some of the losse ends on the stereo install. After the stereo is complete I can get back onto the II. I did a memphis KDW4 4000 Watt RMS with 4- 12 inch MOJO 3 subwoofers, and for highs a Memphis 4x75 watts RMS amp with infinity kappa series 3.5 inch in the dash and 5x7 inch in the rear deck. The subwoofers are not installed yet as I havent built the box yet but I will this week I think. The Highs sound really suprisingly good in the stock location of the car and has plenty of power for a crisp clear sound. I als have an old clarion head unit with VCR, off air broad cast TV, and 7 inch lcd and a 12 dic cd changer. I am thinking of getting a video I pod for it and possibly putting a 26 inch -32 inch monitor in the trunk area. Alot of this was stuff I had left over from the 90's when I sold car stereos.I guess I got tired of tripping over it so I put it in. Yes I know the VCR is really dated but oh well so am I lol

Update. I have been so busy latley with work I havent had a time to check in here at all. I ordered in the stock for Ring Brother's next project so I will be bending their chassis in the very near future. I also am adding in a plasma cutting table that is 5ft by 20 ft and will be offering something similiar to a "model car" type chassis in a up to 5ft by 20 ft sheet of steel cut out with tags on to hold the parts in place. All a purchaser will have to do is take a die grinder and touch off the spots and weld the pieces together. This can be to any frame one desires as long as it fits in a 5ft by 20 ft area. I am not sure what the costs will be yet. If your interested please contact me.

update after a long time. I am adding a new addition on to my shop of 64 wide by 120 ft long as I seem to be getting busier and busier and need more space to work. I have not made any progress on the car but I did walk by it and look at it. Lol. I am hoping to get back on it soon

been busy with work and getting the new addition going. I did inherit a 93 GT that has no front clip, no engine or trans and no interior. The rest is really nice rust free material so a great future project. I will put it in the corner of the new building and save it for the future. I will also be working on the mercury zephyr this winter as well as my II. It also is getting a 5.4 but a bit more milder and maximum motorsports suspension and baer brakes. I am shooting for 300-400 horse for it as I drive this car more during summer months.
Also been doing some shows and those who went on the Power Tour, drove right by my place and saw me waving at them along hwy 14 in southwest wisconsin. A couple of cars broke down at my place and the owners got a tour of my shop.

I have been looking at getting 2 2 post hoists and a 4 post hoist for the new part of my shop with a tire changer and a balancer. I think that this would make my shop a bit more pratical. Right now, I have all of the really cool equipment most guys dream of but no real basic equipment. The 65 in my other post is coming in as soon as the new part is ready and I should be able to work on my mustang II this winter too.
So plan on some new pics around november.

OK been awhile since I posted to this. I added the addition to my place. It is 100 ft by 64 ft with 18 ft ceilings all open space. The walls are not lined yet and the electrical and heating isnt finished yet but it did add alot of extra space. I am looking at a total of 164 ft long by 64 ft wide, so a pretty decent size building. 24 by 48 of it is living area. I am looking at a cnc turning center "Lathe" tomorrow to add so if I get that I should be able to start making more cool parts and then I can start making more progress on the 76.

I did spend some of my 76 funds for something besides the car and bought a 2010 2SS/RS inferno Orange every option Camaro SS so that is hurting my budget some. I took delivery July 2, 09 but hadnt posted in awhile. It was just too tempting so I had to I guess.
