People don't seem to want to pay alot of money for IIs 
It's really quite sad.
but then again, its great for people that want to get into IIs.
I think the most I've ever seen spent on a II was around 14K, and that was for a near mint tangerine coupe. The owner is on this board, hiznherponies

I look at it this way, this is a car I intend to keep and if I didnt like it I wouldnt be doing it. But you bring up an intersting thing, Mustang II's cost just as much for the work as a more popular car does.

Yeah all the parts and work for my car have been just as costly if not moreso than on another car
But I guess the cheaper initial cost balances it out... sorta

Here is an idea I came up with goofing around. Doubt I will use it but if you want to put in your input. The idea is you should see a Cobra head. The horn button would be the head and etc. and the spokes would be the neck part. Let me know what ya think good and bad.

It is, i've always liked ll's.
I could of had a nice one when I was 17 but couldn't drive a stick.

The thing is you never know, if this one goes over well and gets published who knows if other will get on the band wagon like they did a few years back with the corn picker studebakers.

When people see the monster you are creating I can guarantee there will be some newly interested people
as for that wheel, its an interesting design. never seen anything like it before, though personally I don't think I'd use it. I'm a more conventional three spoke kinda guy lol

I am shocked by all the remarks I get on it, I didnt think it would be as popular as it is. I will be posting new steering wheel ideas a bit later as I work them out. I am not sure I am going with a 3 spoke design though but I might. I am also going to go for something that matches the wheel.

More goofing around! I am just playing with ideas and I though why not try some emblems to machine for the car. THis one choice. I am sure I will post more in the rest of this thread.

update: I have been working on some steering wheel ideas. Mostly I should say practicing my software. I also am working a little on my zephyr on the stereo system install. I would have been done but being laid up really slowed things down for me. Also what I was told and thought was a hernia, ended up to be torn ligaments. They are healing but somedays I hurt alot so I have good days and bad days. If I stay off of it and take it easy it would heal better but I get bored and feel like I am going nuts so I end up trying to do things I shouldnt.

Defintely take the time to rest and relax if you're injured Grell. No sense making the job harder in the long run by trying to work when you shouldn't

Update : I was just hired to bend a chassis for Ring Brother's next project. They did the Roush Reactor that is on this forum. Their shop is 8 miles from mine.
