Right there with you Gabe. Sunday and Monday were beautiful weather days, got up to 60°, so took that as a message it was time. Spent time washing and prepping her for the long winters nap. Now she sits in the garage under the cover. Sad day, was wanting to get in a few more drive days. Today was lower 40's and do not expect to get much higher going forward. I expect old man winter to set in soon. Not looking forward to winter. Guess I need to find some where warm to visit.

Started receiving parts for the wife's Shelby's clutch swap.
So far, the RXT is here and the new stainless steel braided clutch fluid line.
The RXT is such a beautiful work of art, it's gonna be a shame to hide it behind a transmission, LOL

Got all the parts together for the clutch swap for the wife's Shelby.
A couple days ago I put her car up on jack stands for the winter, and swapped out the Alcoas,
putting the stock wheels back on since she prefers to start the season on them, until the potholes are somewhat fixed.

Nothing yet... except wanton desire to do something... but soon(tm).
/Timing... it's hilarious...
//Not that I'm not doing anything with her, just I don't count the 'work on it' as doing anything fun, per se...
///Keep finding things, and getting things in the way... I wonder if she'll ever get off those jackstands... which reminds me, why am I here typing? Oh yeah, had to remote work again, so here I am at the computer...

Actually, after the gym, I came home and fired her up. I couldn't help it. lol
It's sunny, but cold out there. About 37 degrees and windy, so it feels like 28. I use the remote start to fire her up and the heated steering wheel/heated seat automatically come on.
I love this car!

I have an amp and a woofer box that I got for free from a friend that I'm trying to install in the trunk.
I have the amp mounted on the box, but having a hard time coming up with a spot to mount the box.
I want it hard-mounted so it won't move around when I drive and get freaky with the throttle

Back in the days I had bazooka tubes in my Mustang. I had them strapped to the carpet and through the wood/plastic carpet backing. They never moved!

Got home and for some reason I had the urge to start it up and take it for a romp around the neighborhood.
So I did

advice wanted for foxbody
I recently purchased a 1985 Mustang GT with a 1992 engine and transmission, I put in a new battery and everything seemed to be running fine till i realized the alternator wasnt charging the battery and my car was just running off of the battery, i got a new alternator and that didnt fix the issue so me and my buddies looked at all the wiring for the alternator and soldered new wires for it all and made sure they were done right and it still wont charge the battery but when we took the alternator to advanced it was working

Yesterday,..............fired mine up and let her run out in the driveway for 20 minutes. Went up and down the driveway to get all moving parts going and back into the garage.
I could take her out today, because it's a nice sunny day over 40 degrees, but the roads are like salted pretzels out here. You can see the dust on the edge of the highways and see the dust flying in the air when cars are switching from lane to lane.
HARD PASS!!! lol
