Got it back from the shop with a new tune for MS109 race gas. Sitting at 757 rwhp and 600+ ft-lb from 3700-5850rpm, max of 638 ft-lbs. Gears are 2.73, reached 191 mph in 4th gear, should clear 220 in 5th. Won't be traveling that fast however this weekend, probably no better than 200 unless it feels really hungry, then might push to 210. Might. Suspension is set up for long straights to hold it steady.

Good luck!

Used to go through Lund and I'm now working with a guy who tunes track cars for various mustang racing teams. He ran half a dozen different solutions through it before he settled on this one. Used to be 18lbs of boost but we backed it down to 16 to prevent pushing past 775 whp. I'd prefer not to see pistons punching holes in my hood when I reach 6k rpm.

I pushed the car hard last year, seeing what it would do as it was set up. I reached 207 and that was just about as much as it was going to do as it was. Really, 200 mph on a surface not designed for such speeds is too much, even for a car set up to do it like mine is, and the primary reason I did this was not for the long speed run but the 1/2 mile run the day before. Got to 167 last year and hoping I can reach 175 this year. Much past that on any highway and the risk is just so very high, even the smooth one we use for it. Smooth at 75 is like driving on a rutted dirt road at 180+. ****ing scary sometimes.

Friend's car, a 2005 V6 convertible, 8.8 rear-end, Whiteline Watts Link, Whiteline rear swaybar, TR6060 trans (which I changed the fluid on today, putting in some custom-blended BND Automotive "Quantum Blue" fluid - instantly smoother shifts with lighter shift effort)

Thanks Darren, I love what he's done with it.
It looks great, it sounds great, and moves pretty darn good too, thanks to that whiny thing under the hood

I guessed Cervini also, but it's not.
And yeah I loved that hood too, was wondering how it'd look on Lisa's car
