This morning, I drove to work in the middle of a nasty rain storm. For as much as I read about how these cars are a handful in heavy rain or snowy conditions, I don't see what the fuss was about. It does just fine. The only "oh s***" moment I've had involved black ice.

Depends on wheels, tires, tire wear, inclination, severity of weather and, most importantly, driver! In my experience, with a little practice, you can pretty much keep a reg diff from slipping at any time except maybe for the occasional spin going uphill on a corner in precipitation.
