drove my 65 cp just for fun ! Got a question data plate on left door shows code 6 for trans (automatic) but car has 3speed stick with console all parts on car clutch ect all look stock . car has plenty of power.

Back when I swapped out the springs in my notch, one of them was actually broken. I had no clue either. Still drove fine.

What was the total damage? Just the spring and tire?

Also Cavero, how long have you had these spring on your car?

Wondering if I should be keeping a closer eye on mine, although with all of us that have been running these springs over all these years, this is the first one I have seen fail.

That's looks substandard material for that to happen 😡 someone cheaping out

Yeah just those two. Luckily I only had 3K on the tires, so I only need the one.

I've had them on the car for 5 yrs or ~ 60k. Installed them brand new, ordered from TillmanSpeed.

Never considered Steeda cheaping out. They've always been a quality manufacturer.

BTW, sorry for your loss. They should've run it into the endzone.

Dropped it off at my Ford dealer. There is an intermittent sound coming from the front driver's tire area that sounds like metal on metal.
