Hey Jill, be sure and let me know the next time you go to the beach, I might have to come up there.

A friend of mine is looking at an '07 Shelby GT 500 with 8000 miles on it for 37 grand. He's also looking at a Mach 1 with 10,000 miles on it for 18 grand. Do you think those prices are reasonable?

Thanks Lee I think 37k is a bit steep as well and maybe 15k for the Mach 1

Even with the low miles it'd be a low 30s car for me.Son of a bi..... why in the hell can't they just let women be free, let them tittays loose! They're not sexual, they're just a food delivery mechanism. Like a fork.
Maybe 34 at the most for the Shelby and that is if it's never been molested at all

Same thing I was thinking. If it was a one owner, never modded, garage kept, from a private seller that I could talk to, etc. it would be worth a little more to me, at least. But its still a 10+ year old car and back then the sticker on those was mid/upper 40s (forget the markups people were paying, that's on them). The car just ain't worth that much overall.

Are there any Mustang activities in or near Oklahoma City? My wife works for Boeing and was just offered a promotion that will require us to move to Oklahoma City, provided they meet the salary requirements. I should be able to keep my civil service status by transferring to Tinker AFB.

How does that work? Is it like speeding? I mean the bigger the cup size, the bigger the fine?

Good friend of mine works as a crew chief at Tinker. Few years back I drove with him out there after a leave, he was showing me around when all of a sudden I noticed everyone had stopped moving. He was like "crap, I forgot" then stopped and rolled down his windows, so we could hear the National Anthem blaring at max volume over the loudspeakers. Instant chills to hear that around the people that do what they do to defend it.

Ooh, that takes me back. I retired 8 years ago. Haven't heard Retreat since, but just reading about it triggers the reflex that makes me stand at attention.

Got a chance to visit a topless beach once on leave and I gotta tell you, most of what I saw looked like runny pancakes and fruit rollups.
