These new cars with all that crap on them really kill batteries. I've got a Motorcraft battery in the '70 that I bought at the Ford dealership about 12 years ago. That car literally sits for 4-5 months at a time without being cranked and it lights right up every time. Never had a tender on it, never been dead, never been recharged. It might get driven 3-4 times in a year, and it still fires right up soon as you turn the switch with that battery that has been in there for 12 years.

Well I'm like you - I've used the local store's brand X (Interstate) for years and the 84's always go 85 or 86 months. But my factory Motorcraft in Bullitt was worked so well I'm tempted to buy one from the dealer (depending on price).
But then again they seem like a 50/50 crap shoot with so many guys complaining they fail. Unless that's because of all their gizmo's like you said.

I would really go interstate

They have never ever given me a problem and always last thru warranty

The motor craft is 50/50

I had to have mulitple replacements in Expedition a few years back under warranty

It did but I think that was my fault

I fixed that and the interstate has been great ever since

I can let it go for about 2 months and it will start but that's about it

The R can go for for about 6 months

Maybe because less tech

I agree with Gary, I'd buy an Interstate to go back in it. That's what I'll put back in the 500 when it ****s the bed. And I don't think it will be long, the last few times I've driven it, it seem to turn over a bit slower. Might be that its cold, but it might be that I've had it 4 years in March.

I've had really good luck with Interstate, I've got an Interstate distribution center near me. They replaced one in my Explorer Limited for free when it had 4 years on it. Their machine said it was good, but I *****ed a bit because it had ****ed me a couple of times.

Come to find out later on, it did the same thing with the new battery. It was a break in the negative cable going to the block.

My shoulder really ****ing hurts. I think I must have burst another disk in my back. I think I did it back at Christmas when I had food poisoning and was puking violently becasue that is when it started. I was sitting on the side of the tub and leaning over to puke in the toilet to the left and that is the one that hurts. Can't even sleep because of it, it hurts no matter which side I lay on.

Stupid **** ****, I'm sick of it.

Well that didn't last long.
God I hate drunk women. They're is only one woman that I don't mind when she is drunk, and that is my aunt. Love to party with her, she can drink like a man.

I can't wait for the cult to show up in that other thread I posted in. They will absolutely rip me a new arsehole and I'm not going to even respond (well, I might, but only to stoke the fire, lol).

Call in the calvary!!!!! LOL
