Taking a lunch break right now at NAIAS. Gosh, so much see. I'm overstimulated to say the least.

What the hell is wrong with the NFL?? If the guy doesn't want to do the media circus what's the big deal? They'll let Brady/Patriots play super bowl after cheating/rule violations, but fine Lynch big time for simply not wanting to participate in the circus.
<ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the NFL is also considering fining Lynch significantly more than the $50,000 for each of the past two seasons for not talking to the media. Lynch again declined to speak on Sunday after the NFC Championship.
Lynch, along with the rest of the Seahawks, is slated for media availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week. If he decides to go with his usual repeat-a-single-phrase routine, the Super Bowl trip could end up being a significant hit to his wallet. NFL officials said that each session in which Lynch declined to speak would accrue an escalating fine, with the initial fine to be more than $50,000.>

Troy Aikman was saying the punishment for the Patriots and Belichek should be harsher than what the Saints received, and I don't disagree. This is now the second (and arguably third time) that the Patriots are in some sort of scandal. And the Saints didn't get a competitive advantage in what they were accused of doing.
When the NFL suspended Peyton for a year they said "ignorance" wasn't an excuse. So, even if Belichek says he didn't know, ignorance isn't an excuse. Send him packing for a year.
Will they do it? No, because the NFL has proven to be hypocritical.
