Mustangs Coast to Coast
Lee was talking about how cobra owners need to tune themselves down a bit and you chimed in. haha I was trying to find my first post on this page and it wasn't a very memorable one. I went through a few pages before I got here on TMS and you guys were talking about the same stuff then as we're talking about now.

Going to try to finally install my LCAs tomorrow. Wish me luck!
Went to my first gun show today. I have one word to say...
INVENTORY!
So sick of walking into gun shops and sporting goods stores and seeing mostly empty shelves. "We can put you on a list..."
The show had plenty of new, used, ammo, reloads, everything in between. A few gougers, but most were priced relatively fair, maybe just a slight premium (considering the current situation). As the day wore on they were more open to bargaining.
I was in 1911 heaven.

I haven't been to a gun show in a few years. I got my .357 at a gun show. It was a S&W state trooper issue from the 80s.

Check out Ruger's SR1911. Nice piece! Stainless, just like Colt, better price. And available. I prefer the Combat Commander size (4 1/4" barrel instead of 5") and Ruger has both available long before Colt will catch up (although Ruger has a waiting list also).

So that's what was nice about the show. Gun dealers from across the state brought some inventory.

Sportsmans Whse had one (Ruger) a few weeks ago in the counter and I loved the feel. Just like the Colt Commander in every way. But I didn't know Ruger had released them so I wanted to check it out first online. That was dumb. lol It sold right away and now they don't know when they'll get another. Its just kind of random how the factories are sending out a few here and there. They won't even let you order (and pay) so you actually are in line.

They require background checks here so its no different than a gun store.
The show was cancelled last year because of the assault weapons flare up! Not a single assault rifle was allowed in the show so many vendors just bailed and the show was cancelled!
