I was released from the hospital last night, still in a bit of pain and on a clear liquid diet that sucks ***. Appreciate everyone who cared...even Al.

Crazy thing is we may have a guy in the hospital for the same thing, of course that can't figure out what it is exactly, but his pancreas is not "normal"

They told me that while there are a few reasons why the pancreas get inflamed, sometimes it inflames for something they have no idea of. Mine was especially weird because its mostly heavy drinkers and smokers, in which, I am neither, I had no blockages either. That might also can explain why it's subsiding so rapidly, even though my inflammation number was a higher than normal inflammation number at 39,000 The guy next to me had pancreatitis and told me that it took him 3 weeks to get to where I was on day 2

Crazy, don't think he is either. Already was sent home twice guess they have him on an IV and feeding tube from what I hear. Sometimes military doctors aren't the best.

I know I'm just glad to be in my own bed, I think I got 7 total hours sleep in the last 90+ hours.

They said the only way to do it is with an IV if there is no obvious reason why. Starving the pancreas back to normal. They don't even let you drink water because the pancreas would have to go to work.

Decided to finally put the Tahoe on craigslist. Should have waited if I knew people would respond so quickly. Three people want it right now but I'm going out of town tonight. Dang.
