I'm in shorts and short sleeves. Still supposed to be cooler than normal this week. Some 20s for lows later in the week.

we didn't get it as bad as Paul and them, but **** what a storm we had. Knocked out the power, I went out in the open hallway between the apartments, and almost got blown over the wind was howling through there and the rain with it. We were out chatting with a neighbor and almost got hit by lightning. Biggest, brightest, largest set of bolts I've ever seen.

We've got countless trees downed, a convenience store in ruins, a few houses damaged, and about a thousand people without power.

Back to work after three days of drinking in Dublin. Early flight yesterday and I just took it easy when I got home.

Be safe, weather is warmer here, but still wet. It's good since the rain will wash the salt away, just waiting for it to improve a little so I don't have to drive the beater.

Not terrible...gutters torn off, broken windows, branch stuck through the roof at one spot, destroyed a small deck and blew off some shingles. At least the cars weren't touched...I have enough of those projects that I didn't want to have to redo the cars that are already done...

After a few bad storms and then April 27th, I went on a binge, bunch of Virginia and loblolly pines, about 40 in all. Basically anything tall enough to reach the house and big enough to go through it.

The last two that had me worried..

Might be interesting because these were dead trees....

We are OK, thanks though....it's not bad enough that I can't still live there. Just waiting on the insurance adjuster now...

Lots without power here too...schools are closed because of the storm damage.
