So not only was I out of washer fluid, the nozzles also don't work. I'm wondering if they came lose when I put my cowl panel back on after installing my dumb STB. I know I made sure to hook them back up again. Don't want to take it off either for fear that the whole danged thing will crack in this cold. I tried using some glass cleaner that I had in my trunk but even that was frozen! Ended up having to use some frozen interior wipes so I could at least see something. Was going to go through the car wash on my way home but it froze up on the person ahead of me.

For that matter, Road Atlanta is close....Sebring is in Florida and VIR and Summit Point aren't that far away....He could just take various trips here...I'll keep her maintained and ready for track duty and once all the bucket tracks around the south and east coast are done he can migrate west

When I put that wiper motor on for someone a few months ago, I got it all back together and the washers wouldn't spray. Pulled the cowl back off and the plastic line had gotten in a bind and had it kinked.

Should warm up this weekend. Will probably have to check then. In the mean time.

Are the nozzles/lines frozen? Some of those anti freeze mixes are only good down to -20, and you said -40 - -50 the other day (that's why I asked about expedition clothing). Imagine the wind chill at speed.

I guess it's possible.

Last summer. I rarely ever use them because I hate how it smears stuff. I think I've used them recently though. It's both of them though. I feel like if they had come lose, it would have just been one.

Ohhh, well that ***** is probably frozen then. I thought you had just had the cowl off while you were out on break or something.

The problem on the one that I was working on was that it had one line that ran up to the cowl and T'd into 2 right at each wiper. The main one was kinked

I certainly wouldn't try to take the cowl off, not in that cold for sure.

I have some cracks from taking it off in the summer. It would shatter if I tried in this cold.

Hell no, not unless you've got a heated garage where you can park it over night and get everything warmed up. 10 year old plastic and 40 below will not end well.

It's not -14. It's -1 with -10 wind chill.
