So I guess the hosp admin thought I was lowballing and an alcho - so they provide 2 bottles of wine (4 glasses) with each dinner - so I don't get dt's or whatever.
I really wasn't in the mood so there were like 6 of these little bottles (unopened) on the table after a few days.In comes the social worker... and here comes the lecture. I tell her the story - and that not one doc has told me its bad - they like that I eat well! I said I'm from the party generation but don't want to be addicted to anything. She finally leaves.
So the next day I tell the doc's assistant about it and "you know if there were 6 empty bottles she might have something to say, but 6 unopened bottles??
" She laughed. And apologized. Said the guy down the hall (cardio floor) said "I made the mistake of simply asking if I could have a drink on xmas" - and he got the dang lecture. 
Freakin lib social workers see something and right off the bat judge you and put you in their little corner before they ask a single question.
They'd have a field day with you Lee! lol

I'll try to be brief - I've told every doc (12 now over 3 yrs) that I drink 2-4 pretty much every night. 2 whisky's, then I'm in the mood to cook. A few glasses of wine cooking and eating dinner. NOT ONE doc has said to change that.
