Interesting tidbit:
Sure, there are the New Age adherents like the highly celebrated ESOP at W.L.Gore & Associates, maker of Gore-Tex.
How's this for radical: Gore has no hierarchy, no job titles and no reporting system. It won't build a facility to house more than 200 people to avoid communication breakdowns. New hires aren't given a job function, just a mentor to figure out what they'll do, and you float proposals to 'idea champions' who shoot them quickly up the line.

Somebody sent me one of the cutest things I've seen in a long time today. They were at Cracker Barrel the other day, and they have their Christmas decorations up. In the gift shop area, a little boy saw one of the Santa decorations, went over, put his arms around him and started talking to him and telling him what he wanted for Christmas.

I'm going to start things to be thankful for a lil early. I'm thankful that my friend walked away with minor injuries after a car came airborne across the median, upside down and slammed into her car. She is very lucky!

Me too! I feel so bad for her though. She was already having a bad enough day after they had to put their 15 yr old dog down in the morning....then this.
