Anywhere that is going to get pelted with rocks or smeared with bugs.
I also did rockers (which you can now feel how pitted the film is rather than the rockers themselves), rear fender rockers, strip on fender wells, area on top rear bumper wide as trunk opening so I don't scuff (like I see on many cars), strip on door edges, mirror covers.
Wish I would have done the A pillars and about a 3" strip on the very front of the roof. Sure enough I've got a pit up there.

I wanted something I could put on and take off when I wanted to. I don't drive it in the rain, and it stays clean all the time. Its not something I'll leave on all the time, just if I'm going to be going farther than just a cruise around here, of I decide to drive it on a trip somewhere with a lot of highway miles.
Rockers on mine aren't painted, and are only about $100 each to replace them if they really get beat up, and it has a small stone guard on the rear and I'll probably end up buying the Jaeger Bros. ones for the front.

I have zero chips in either car's mask.
I won't do bra's anymore after 2 cars clouded. They wick moisture even though you aren't driving in the rain.

Its not a clear bra, its a regular bra. I'm afraid of what a clear bra will look like on black, especially when it starts to get chips and such in it. And since I'm planning on keeping this car, I'm leery about what one will do years down the road and what it would do to the paint if it got to looking horrible and had to be taken off.

I've removed a clear bra from a customers saleen that he bought...it was dark alloy and you could see the edges of the clear bra and some edges were starting to peel up so that's why we removed it. Came off easy with no damage to the paint.
Do yourself a favor if you EVER think you are going to replace those rockers and buy a spare set now....they will never be cheaper and will skyrocket in price WHEN Ford decides to obsolete them.

Everyone I've talked to said the Colgan was really good. First company to make car bras, been in business for 50 years, and made to order in the US
Already on it, just haven't ordered them yet.

I'm sick of women (no offense to anyone here). I need to just get in my car and get the hell out of here. My brain is completely worn out from studying the past couple days and I just come home to more crap shoved at me. I couldn't even eat dinner tonight cause my mind was going so fast.

I've had them on several other Mustangs over the years that I drove the way I do this one and never had any problems. But, I always used high quality bras, and I never left them on all the time.
