I recall being up North near coldlake Alberta when they were first testing the cruise missles I had to drive an ice road for about 45 kilometers and right befor I got my truck lic too I had a big D-9 on the trailer hummin along and I hear a kinda thunder i look in the mirror and dang near died a huge four foot wide crack chasing me it rand faster than I was travelling as we had to keep steady speeds for pressure etc I think the ice was like 12 ft thick as soon as it cracked filled it frooze up, the rest of the day when I got across wiwas with the boss in his truck drinking bohiemien ? beers all day like that friggin helped
