Dang it! My regional docs have referred me to the Oregon Health Sciences University campus in a few weeks for consultations with two experts. That's good news. OHSU is the best place in the State. Cardiothoracic & oncology specialists (but I think that means they want to crack my chest open again as this thymus shrinks further. Shyte.

The bad news, who the ef puts a University Hospital campus in the middle of downtown Portland?? I would bet many of their patients are referred from out of town and most are not financially flush to afford downtown hotels. Without looking at the $150 dives (read 2 reviews and
), the rates are $250 - $500 a night. Plus parking. Not covered by insurance. Not even a vacation.

Looking now. Problem is Portland is really spread out and parts of it are really scuzzy. I hate driving big city downtowns anywhere.

Good news is thymus has shrunk by 36% after 2 treatments (3rd was last Mon). Guess they want it out and Scotty can't do it. But not thrilled about two surgeries in 6-8 months. I'm pretty well healed now (12 wks) and can do some weed eating, some carpentry, some firewood, some hay. But dang this will set me back for 8-12 weeks going into fall/winter where my hardest ranch chores are. Then comes snowblowing.
Other good news is a chance to eat at Jake's Famous Crawfish again. Founded in 1892 by Jake Freiman. Look at all those oysters from various bays & inlets up the Pacific Coast. (They really do taste different from each other)

I see that happen alot in Richmond. Its really bad on my schools campus. They hit the front of the car behind them, the the back of the one in front and stay there. Its quite hilarious.

Sitting here looking at my fish tank, I just put in a new piece of driftwood and some of my fish arent to sure about so they are sitting on the otherside of the tank. The only problem is, that my catfish's territory, so he keeps chasing the around in circles. Pretty entertaining.
