Saw an H2 today with a set of big chrome wheels on it that were at least 26", and the freaking thing was slammed down about as low as my 500. 
Who does **** like that?

No doubt. I got on it some on the way to the house after riding around for about an hour and it felt like it was down at least 100 hp.
Anybody else open the hood and leave it for a while after driving to keep all that heat from baking the hood?

I wouldnt worry about your Shelby doggin it at 107 degrees. How fast could you run in that heat?

I know my car felt a bit down on power. This heat is some total BS! It was so **** hot I think I burned my azz getting in the car. The seats were on fire!

I always have even after a normal drive during the summer, but even more so on these last 2 because of the stripes. It may not be accomplishing anything, but in my mind I still think over time that much heat sitting there would have to take a toll on the hood paint and stripes.
I've got a squirrel cage type blower that I salvaged out of a central heat/ac unit and put a plug in and switch on and made a fan out of it. I sit it in front of them sometimes to move some air through the engine bay. And it moves a LOT of air, lol.
