http://delaware.craigslist.org/ctd/3101073194.html this has over 172k miles, do these motors/transmissions and whatnot run that strong in a mustang?

Anyway, it would find out more on it. I mean, any car well taken car of can last for a long time. The motors are great imo and will take a beating (I beat the **** out of mine and have for 8 years). I would say the motor is probably ok, its the rear and transmission that I would inquire about.
Ive been through one rear already in mine that was bad not by my own doing.

i'm half asleep and stalking CL
oh i was only curious as i am not in the market to buy one anytime soon, i just see the new edges with 100k + miles and really curious if it would be safe to lets say buy a v6 and it has that many miles, would it be in ok condition or would it need immediate attention and repairs...i would prefer to find something with under 80k miles but those are a rarity and most that i find are only manuals....

I would buy one with over 100k. I put 100k on mine (bought it with 35k) and like I said, Im not exactly easy on it and somehow its still going strong

edit: MTV and Rolling Stone and a pornstar
give me new knees and someone with the patience to teach me
i don't know why but i just fear buying a car with higher miles will be more problems then i want, heck my 98 civic with 94k miles has a difrent issue every single year
