Still debating if I should send back my tokicos and get the konis instead.

Depends on the price difference and which konis your going with. If they are yellows, then definently. I don't know anything about the srts (I think what they are)

Strano always says that the srt.t's are a definite improvement over stock. But they're not adjustable.

I remember some of the Bullit guys wanted a better shock but didn't want to make a harsh ride. Stockers are actually a decent mix of comfort and road handling.
So some tried the adjustable and could never quite find a setting they liked. Either too firm and jarring or too soft and bouncy. But IIRC most liked the srt.t ride. That's all I know.

Can't afford the yellows. The STR.Ts would be $14 cheaper than I paid for the Tokico HPs. Unless Paul can get them for me for under $324 shipped.

Well, depending on how your rate it, in my book everything is better then stock. I just don't know how they compare with tokico hp blues and the such. I know they are konis which could be good, especially if they can be rebuilt down the line.

Nathan, imo its truly up to you. There could be that added benefit of the konis being able to be rebuilt so that could save you some doh in the future. That would be something to look into. You can typically send the konis off and have them rebuilt for almost half the cost or so...

I don't think one will be better then the other in terms of performance.

That's a good point. But since Koni is always back ordered - how many months would a rebuild take?? lol

Better save your old ones Nathan so you could at least drive while they're being rebuilt.

This is true. My neighbor had his yellows rebuilt about 2 years ago and it took close to a month, but it was hell of a lot cheaper then buying new. So I don't know. Its one of those chances you kinda have to take

It's been bugging me all day. I think I'd rather have the Konis but I don't know if they're worth the trouble. But then I don't want to regret not getting them.

329 seems like a good price for the konis.

If that's what you want, just get them. You regret it if you don't.

I just want to know if it's worth it. If it's not then it's just a waste of my time.

Keep in mind you're changing many things - so you might not be able to tell which component is giving you the ride you want.

If your struts/dampers are old or worn, I'd think it would be messed up with new springs and spongy old struts/dampers.
