Not the most technical person on here, but like to read up on those threads too. Would love to do some things to the Boss, but time and cash haven't been that available lately. Really thinking of throwing an MGW shifter in, have some friends that would be willing to help. Know it's not as easy as the Hurst shifter I put in my '05, but sure I can handle it.
I had an OBD display hooked up in my Boss. It was mounted to the windshield in my line of sight and made a great heads-up display. Until I discovered it is always on and had drained my battery when I went 3 weeks without driving. DOH!

Whoops! I've seen a couple of display like that I wouldn't mind trying. Have you seen the SCT that hook up to your iPad, or whatever, via Bluetooth? A little on the expensive side, but could be cool. Still trying to decide if I want to do TracKey when I get back.

I like TracKey. Whether or not it is worth the money is a personal decision. I havent tried the Launch Control. Need to find a deserted parking lot for that

I want to learn that stuff. I'm old school where you gap points and plugs, screwdriver for idle mix, box end/crescent and timing light (or ear if necessary), and spark plug socket to check plug color (after pulling a hill or wot) to see if main jets are correct. That's second nature and can do in my sleep cause I've been doing that on dirt bikes, lawn mowers, carb vehicles since I was like 13 or 14..
It would be cool to see A/F, etc. across the power band. Plus another reason is by getting a tune, I could store my factory Bullitt tune (with its adaptive spark ignition for the different altitudes I drive in) as backup and to switch to it when I leave my home and don't want to use the custom tune. Because as it is now, if for some strange reason my factory tune became corrupted, I'd have to trailer it to a Dealer and bendover to pay them to reload the factory tune.
I was driving around looking for somewhere to play a couple weekends ago. Have this little place right off the base that is somewhat open and empty on the weekends, except for the military cops. One of my good friends is a cop and was working that day, told him to listen out for me getting busted! Just did some doughnuts and enjoyed the smell of burnt rubber.
Man that's awesome!
