Sorry, that is a picture taken from the Bunker Bar at our resort when we went to Aruba. Our room was right next door to that. It was awesome staying right on the beach like that. Our doors opened right up to the beach. Some of the best sunsets I've ever seen too!

That's gorgeous. Perfect spot for a hammock and cocktails.

It was gorgeous. And all-inclusive too which keeps the bar bill down! It was 16 of us that went, including kids and we had a great time. So much to see and do. That's where my husband caught his blue marlin. Deep sea fishing is pretty cheap there (compared to here) because you don't have to go but a couple of miles off shore and you are in water deep enough. Here you have to go out for hours before you can fish like that, so it's pricy. I caught a 40 lb mahi mahi and we sent it to a restaurant where they cooked it up for us for dinner. Oh, and there are casinos too.

always something to be done when you own a home. Hopefully you can fix it yourself and it's not too much work

Jill, Aruba sounds like a dream, my friends from Upstate NY went a few years back and told me of the clear blue waters and how amazing time it was...would be a definite trip for the future one day.

So are your houseplants all wilting this morning from your wife pouring those tall drinks in them?

One of the couples we went with bought a timeshare when we were there. We loved it so much we went back the next year with one of the other couples....without the kids this time. Did some adult partying on the second trip. The Kukoo Kanuku party bus was such a good time.

I thought the only two rules you had to remember being a plumber is hot is on the left and cold is on the right. At least that's what my steamfitters husband says when he jokes around with his plumber friends, lol.

Well I'm not getting anything done sitting here drinking my coffee and posting. Gotta go

Well there sure are a lot of moron plumbers here in OR. I can't tell you how many hotels, restaurant bathrooms, even the guest house I stayed at across from the hospital the night before surgery... all had the hot on the right. Freakin' idiots!

Your avatar and all of Amie's beach pictures keep me from being depressed about the weather, at least I get to look at some nice places. Maybe the weather has something to do with my mood lately, lol! Being stuck in front of a couputer screen all night doesn't help either!
