you also have to figure in the quite hefty price tag of getting one of those motors

and all the accessory parts that go along with it

Yeah I think its like 7k for the motor and 1200 for the control pack alternator kit etc from Ford Racind but any transmission used on a 4.6 will bolt up to the 5.0 which saves you some money but getting all the necessary little stuff to make it happen is what adds up quickly
